Keri Beaumont grew up in the competitive dance world, but after both knee and back injuries her senior year of high school, she realized that she needed another fitness regimen. Her physical therapist recommended yoga to heal, but Keri had not realized the impact that it would actually have on her life as a whole. After the first class with Tymi Howard in Lake Mary, Florida that focused on Vinyasa flow, she knew that this was a path she wanted to remain on. She moved to Tampa, Florida in 2009, and graduated with a B.S. of Environmental Science from USF. She then moved to Westchase, where she became a veterinary technician at North Bay Animal Hospital. Soon after her move, she finally found her home studio with Missy White at Studio 108.
She had been a practicing yogi for 8 years and knew it was time to begin sharing her love of yoga to inspire others. Keri began her 200 hour teacher training with Missy in January 2017. Now as a recent graduate, she is eager and devoted to inspiring others through the creative art and self-healing that yoga can bring to everyone both on and off the mat. Her classes will incorporate her background in dance with a focus on breath work, creative flow, and movement therapy. Her main goal as an instructor is for each person to leave her class feeling more energetic, light, confident, and free.
“I love animals, the outdoors, and lots of family and friend time. Oh, and smiling. Definitely smiling.”
